Townsend Issues Call For Commuter Advisory Council
Monroe - Orange County Legislator Greg Townsend is forming a Community Advisory Council and is encouraging commuters to join to work towards improved services for bus and train passengers.
"In light of recent service disruptions I believe it is crucial that commuters have a place to lodge their complaints other than the bus company." - Townsend
"Commuters are very busy and do not have time to chase service issues with corporate bureaucrats. The Commuter Advisory Council will receive the complaints and act to resolve them on behalf of the commuters." - Townsend
Individuals interested in joining the Commuter Advisory Council should contact Legislator Townsend at 845.291.4800 or by email legislature@co.orange.ny.us
Constituents with service complaints are also invited to forward them to Greg Townsend, who will follow up with the appropriate officials.
